4.07.08 - 2008 USDGC Roc Update

sanmarino.jpgFor those of you, like us, who are chomping at the bit for the 2008 USDGC Roc release, let me share with you these words:

Echo Plastic, Mint Green, 180 gram, Star San Marino Roc

Dude. If that doesn’t do it for you then I’m not sure anything will. I know it is taking longer than usual to get USDGC Rocs ready but I can assure you it will be worth the wait. There are several reasons for the delay but I want to focus on the two big ones.

#1 – The San Marino. This isn’t just any disc. It’s the classic, San Marino Roc reborn. Some Innova team members have already described it as being as good, if not better than old school DX versions from years ago. Perfect stability at all speeds, and the added durability of Innova’s premium blends. Dave Dunipace and the west side crew have taken extra time to make sure this one was on the money. They’ve succeeded.

#2 – A new standard of excellence for Collectors. Just like fine pieces of art are graded to help ensure their market value, similar steps are being taken with the 08 Rocs. We have taken unprecedented steps in order to guarantee that only the finest gems are released as part of our “Collector Series.” Each and every Roc has been hand inspected and sorted into several categories. The end result will likely be a batch of the most highly sought after discs in history.

No other golf disc can compare to the legendary Roc. You guys know that or you wouldn’t be reading this. So I don’t need to tell you just how important it is that attention is given to even the finest of details.

Bottom line: we’ll be ready when we’re ready. And that time isn’t too far away now.

My estimate is that USDGC Partners should begin getting phone calls next month. There are still plenty of puzzle pieces to put together, but things are really beginning to take shape. We are happy and think that you will be too.

Another thing to keep in mind is that we have tons of gems in our Thrower class. These will come unpackaged and ready for action. There is an abundance of Champion Ranchos and San Marinos in a variety of colors, and plenty at max weight. A Thrower and Factory Second release will come as quickly on the heels of the collectors as possible.

Cheers!
