The final USDGC Partner orders were shipped out late yesterday. It looks like the eBay feeding frenzy has officially begun. For those of you who are not Partners, here is the information you’ve been waiting for.

The official release date for USDGC “Throwers” is next Thursday, June 12th. They will be available in the ZD Pro Shop.

If you are not down with the lingo, Throwers are the USDGC fundraising Rocs that are not packaged, numbered, and registered in the official collector guide. They are not factory seconds or double stamps. Throwers are perfect discs intended for action. There is no better birdie tool than a Roc, and these are the gems of the gems.

Throwers will be $19.99 each. There are Champion Rancho, Champion San Marino, and Echo Star San Marinos available, many at max weight. All proceeds go directly to the 2008 United States Disc Golf Championship.

All of the Rancho Throwers have the same hot stamp. All of the San Marinos have a different stamp. Both designs were hand drawn by Scott Scienski, aka “Skeet” who also provided the “Skull & Bones” and “West Sayeed” designs in the collector series.

Factory seconds and double stamps will also be available. There is a variety of weights, colors, and molds. Seconds will be $16.99.
