What is your favorite memory from past US Championships, as a spectator or competitor?

My biggest memory is during the first year of the USDGC. I was in the lead group after two rounds and playing with Kenny. We step up to the tee of hole 17 and Climo tees off first. Most everyone has seen the tape, but he steps up and aces the hole and the spectators following us went wild. It was very cool to be there and witness the shot. I was lucky enough to tee off after him and all I wanted to do was get inside the circle. I proceeded to park it and get my birdie, but it was a great moment!

Do you have a special story on how you qualified?

This year I qualified at the Canadian Open. It is getting harder and harder to qualify these days and I have yet to miss a USDGC. There are not many 9 timers left??

What do you most look forward to when playing in this tournament?

I think the most exciting part is the anticipation of going to the players meeting and getting your tee time. After you leave the meeting all excited, you realize you haven’t even thrown one shot and you are having a blast. The entire week is what disc golf will hopefully be someday. The drive home is the worst, you have to wait another year to hopefully come back!
